The Deep Ember Garnet Ring

Garnet forms deep within the earth under intense heat and pressure — its rich red colour comes from iron and manganese, concentrated over millions of years into one of nature's most enduring gemstones.

A natural garnet rests at the centre of this ring, revealing a rich wine-red tone beneath its smooth, rounded surface. In softer light, the stone appears dark and almost opaque; when the light reaches it directly, warmer crimson reflections begin to emerge from within.

Hand-shaped brass wirework surrounds the garnet in dense, layered curves. Fine coils create a rhythmic frame around the stone, while the open centre leaves its rounded surface and deep colour clearly visible. The broad woven band adds structure and weight, giving the ring a strong yet balanced presence.

Created as a one-of-a-kind piece, this ring is made to be worn and lived with. As the brass gradually deepens in colour and develops a natural patina, it will gather visible traces of everyday wear and become increasingly personal.
