Herkimer-style quartz forms in ancient dolostone, growing freely without attachment — its natural double termination and internal clarity are the result of millions of years of undisturbed growth.

A natural Herkimer-style quartz rests at the centre of this ring, revealing bright facets, transparent layers, and delicate markings formed inside the crystal. As the viewing angle changes, the stone moves between clear reflections and softer shadows, creating a quiet sense of depth.

Hand-shaped white copper curves around the crystal in overlapping circular lines. Closely wrapped coils add texture and weight to one side of the setting, while the open centre allows the natural shape and clarity of the quartz to remain visible.

Created as a one-of-a-kind piece, this ring is made to be worn and lived with. Over time, the white copper may gradually deepen in tone and gather subtle traces of everyday wear, allowing the piece to become increasingly personal.
